A lovely, homey feel. Slightly out of the way but exactly what we wanted…..away from man made noise! Close proximity to \u201csites\u201d but nice to choose to stay \u201chome\u201d and \u201cjust relax\u201d. We definitely would choose to stay there again.

The cottage is a very comfortable homely stay in a truly picturesque rural area with the Glenelg river close by and the magnificent wildflowers of the Wilkin Flora and Fauna Reserve a short walk away.\u00a0With the ultimate hostess providing sumptuous breakfast stores of home cooked bread and free range eggs from her hens among other delicacies.\u00a0We had a very relaxing stay and hope to visit again. Thank you.

Where to start – an impossibly beautiful bush and farm setting on the banks of the Glenelg river. Wildlife galore, fantastic walks. The cottage was charming and cosy and had everything you could need\u2026. A huge platter of fruits of all kinds, homemade bread – such a lovely touch. We can\u2019t wait to come back! Highly recommended.

A wonderful experience\u2026 \u00a0A wonderful little oasis off the beaten track. The cottage is charming and the surrounding landscape spectacular. And the linen is sublime! So snuggling into bed at the end of the day is lovely.

A terrific stay when you want to escape the rat-race and technology! I’d love to go back when the wildflowers are out, but it was lovely walking around the property and especially along the river. I think I was lucky enough to see a Rakali, a timid Australian native water rat, ‘Australia’s otter’, and of course, there were plenty of kangaroos, emus, and white and black cockatoos amongst lots of other birdlife.

From the moment you arrive everything is thought about, & the lovely treats… very thoughtful. The ironed sheets were sublime! We did some beautiful day trips to Mt Gambier, & the Coonawarra area, & the coffee at Element in Casterton is fabulous!
